There are two possible ways to do this, with a dedicated viewer, or using the built in viewer.
To use the built in viewer, simply select the file you wish to view and either click the "View File Contents" button (3rd from the left), or right click it and select "View File Contents > Use Internal Viewer" (Shortcut key: CTRL+V) or if you have the option selected, "View File Contents > Use External Viewer" (Shortcut key: CTRL+E). ![]() You will then see the following message (assuming you have not disabled it in the Index.dat Suite settings). This message simply warns you that the content extraction could take a while, if you do not mind waiting click OK, otherwise click Cancel. ![]() Although the prompt above mentions upto and over 10 mins, it could actually take between 30 seconds, to 30 minutes, to extract the contents of a file. The time it takes depends on both the speed of your computer, and the size of the file you wish to view. Once the extraction is complete, you will see something resembling the following. ![]() |
